The Garrigues, or scrubland, is made up of different types of vegetation on a limestone soil. Its boasts an abundance of floral varieties bursting with aromas and colours that are a wonder to behold.
Once upon a time, grazing sheep graced the landscape; but today it is reverting back to a forest of kermes oak and conifers that stifle all the floral richness.
Available on 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg
Color: light or dark brown.
Smell: more or less intense aromatic scent garrigues
Flavor: varying from floral to fruity with a few hints of sharpness or bitterness depending on the richness of nectars it contains.
It can be enjoyed on bread, with tea, with herbal teas, goes wonderfully well with meat, fish and pastries.
